Easy Summer Card

Friday, October 21, 2016
Hi crafters! Monica here sharing a card I made using "Flip Flops" which is new release from Dare 2B Artzy.  A super fun set that comes with summer images and fun summer sentiments.

I colored the flip flops with colors from the Festive and Tropical ink sets.   Them come in convenient cubes that you can take to crops or scrapovers which is a sleepover lol.

I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by, but don’t leave without entering our October challenge where you could win a stamp and ink set from Dare 2B Arzty! October Fall Challenge

Mixed Media On-the-Go

It's time to get organized with Stackable Caddy Organizer from Deflecto.  With so many new products on the market it is almost impossible to keep them all organized.  I was storing all my different kinds of ink in one storage tub that I bought from Walmart. I thought I had solved my organization problems..... until you popped open the lid and this is what you saw.  How horrible is it to find something in this heap of a mess on top of things spilling.

Now this is my BEFORE
and hip hip hooray this is my AFTER!!

What a huge difference right?!!

I finally can store all my sponge daubers in one nice container no more messy fuss!

I like to think of this as my mixed media on-the-go caddy!

Layering Dies for Different Looks

Saturday, October 15, 2016
Hi crafters! Monica here today sharing my next project ofr Tutti Designs.  I am using this Pop Out Flower Corner die to make this card.
I used some blue and silver foil paper to make this card.  I then embossed the white cardstock so the die popped off the page.  I also used some of the silver foil paper to fill in various sections of the die.

A closer look at how the sections I filled in on the card. Here the die is cut and I filled in some sections.  The photo below the die is layered in the blue and silver foiled paper.  I then laid it on top of one another but sort of staggered it so you can see the blue foil peeking out.

It adds a nice touch to it.  Least I think so right??!!
I hope everyone enjoyed my post and be sure to check out all of the Tutti links below for updated information, inspirations and giveaways.

Breast Cancer - Desktop Calendar Frame

Friday, October 14, 2016

Hi crafters! Simply Monica here with my 1st official Deflecto Crafts project.  This project goes out to all those amazing women who are survivors and what a better way to remember and never forget than to take your Deflecto Pink Craft Frame and turn it into a desktop easel calendar.

I took a mini calendar and adhered it to a piece of black cardstock so that the calendar was a bit more sturdy.  Then I found some round magnets and added a sticker to the top magnet that says "Faith" which is perfect!  What is nice is that the magnet slides on the acrylic frame easily.  No need to pick the magnet up to move it to the next date simply slide it.

Whenever your ready to change your months out simply pull the back flap down and slide in the next month.  A perfect Christmas gift or a special gift for that special woman!

I hope everyone enjoyed my post and we would love you to follow us:

Hi crafters! Welcome to the Echo Park and Imagine blog hop.  For me, I am in Florida trying to survive Hurricane Matthew so any added prayers would be welcome as well lol!!!  So, it was interesting to try and create projects with limited supplies.  It is amazing to see how far crafting has come, but try and challenge yourself and use the basics.

For my post I made a Christmas using Versacolor ink in Green Tea and Echo Park Haunted patterned paper and   Tis the Season combo set.
I also made this tag using the Haunted collection and added some Studio Glaze in Black to make the dots on the patterned paper and also outlined the house with Memento black ink for depth.  I thought to use only simple things and the products on hand.

There is a full lineup of amazing designers to get your creativity going and both Imagine and Echo Park will be giving away a a fabulous prize!!

I hope everyone everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping your  last stop is the Imagine blog.
Here is the full list in case you get lost along the way.  To be eligible for the prizes you must leave a comment on each blog

Stamping on Vellum + Giveaway

Hi crafters!  Monica here sharing a card I made for Hurricane Matthew lol.  At the moment the weather here is awful... rainy, windy and dark so I am hoping this card brightens someone's day!  I used the Big Bloom stamp set to make this black and white card.

I stamped 2 sets of the flowers onto vellum paper using Stazon : Jet Black ink which works beautifully on vellum.  It didn't smear which was really nice.  I then used some Fabrico markers to add just a touch of color on the leaves of the flower to make the image pop off the page more among all the black.

I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by, but don't leave without entering our October challenge where you could win a stamp and ink set from Dare 2B Arzty!

If you are interested in winning the card please leave your address or blog address in your comments or email me so I can find you.
